Here's a look at one corner of the living room when we moved in and how it looks now. We've basically been taking out everything that looks busy and outdated and replacing only what we need to with more simple and natural materials. We won't add a lot of furniture or decoration but we've still got at least a little work to do on that front.

oh my gosh, how beautiful! This is exactly what I would have wanted done though I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to envision it!
