an everlasting meal
I don't think of myself as a big resolution person but I do always have a few goals floating around in my head - especially this time of year. One thing that I'd like to improve on is getting a little more organized on the cooking front. I just ordered this book. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying these videos while I wait for my book to arrive.

the neighs
I love these horses from mummo shop.
The house we are renting in California has four horses on the property. Rye is officially obsessed with "the neighs." We visit them many times a day. He talks about them in his sleep.
After the holiday craziness winds down I plan to make a similar horse for him. I'm hoping that being able to play with an indoor horse will give me enough time to drink my cup of coffee before we head out in the morning to deliver our carrots to the real thing.
