Little collections trickle into our house all day long. Rye seems to always have a pebble, stick, acorn or flower tucked tightly in each hand.
So very sweet.

Love the collections! This weekend my son wanted to collect leaves, but I was alittle embarrassed since he wanted to pull them off of the trees. I was trying to convince him the fallen ones were good enough, but he just wasn't satisfied and so he just boldly went up to the trees with low enough branches and tore them off. I liked that he got me looking at what was on the ground though since we found three bright red magnolia seeds that I plan to plant. (I'm a sucker for seeds, in the spring we planted a bunch of mulberries and it seems as though every single seed sprouted, now what do I do with all the plantlets? My little container looks like a carpet of microgreens!) Happy collecting!

Me too! My husband even collects feathers, nests and egg shards for me now, and almost always brings back a rock from his hunting trips (he's a rock guy too, thank heavens!). Nature is a beautiful thing to enjoy, right?
