Life has been a wee bit crazy of late but at least the thrifting has been good. Last week I spent one of my precious babysitter sessions hitting up my favorite thrift haunts and found a few gems. Here they are, top to bottom.
- I now own a vintage hot pink silk business suit. The blazer fits perfectly and I plan to wear it with jeans. The matching skirt is a little on the small side but is prettty cute, so maybe I'll squeeze into it. I think that I'd only wear the skirt and blazer together on halloween. It's a little intense.
- Can you believe that I almost passed on this fantastic necklace? Luckily technology stepped in and I was able to consult a couple trusted friends via iphone photos who set me straight. This necklace is going to be a show stopper when I have the occasion to wear it.
- Vintage coach shoulder bag. A good find indeed.
- Finally, this crazy ring. It reminds me of some kind of sea coral or anemone. It's not quite the pod ring, but a similar idea.
Love, love, LOVE that necklace. My thrift luck had been pretty good lately, too, but I usually forget to post about it! = )

There are almost all fabrics which are exploited to make this garment. But the most durable and apt fabric is a high quality wool. It also makes a perfect fit. It is advisable to buy only the suits that are made up of at the least 45% of wool.
